LAND OWNERS

Integrum Renewable Energy understand that the agricultural community is a unique and diverse landscape. We recognise there are many factors which may mean landowners wish to diversify their operations and to maximise the income potential of their land. Renewable energy projects can provide several key benefits to landowners who may wish to retain their land, continue farming operations or seek more certainty over long term income.

LAND OWNER BENEFITS
Landowners greatly benefit from hosting solar projects on their land. While providing a long period of income diversification, they enable landowners to improve local biodiversity and to contribute to the wider goals of beating climate change. At the end of a solar farm's life (typically 30-35 years) it is easily removed and the land returned to its previous use.

Key benefits to landowners include:

• Diversifies farm operations.
• Enables landowners to predict income to their farming business, colloquially known as 'drought proofing' farms' incomes over the long term.
• Increases the quality of the land and biodiversity.
• In general, solar farms are quicker to build and can be built around wider farming activities.
